L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Solano has died after he was shot in a random attack. The 50-year-old had been in grave condition since Monday night, when investigators say a Utah man shot him in the head for no apparent reason. “He confronted a threat not knowing what it was, and in a split second, he lost his life, and that’s what it is in law enforcement,” L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said during a news conference. A procession for Solano was held Wednesday night along Marengo Street from Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center to the Coroner's Office. 📸: @kentnish

🙏 R.I.P. 😢
I bet you it was some crazy white guy, AGAIN! And us Mexican and black young men and women are being target by police AAAALLL the time, being harassed, held at gun point because the color of our skin, this white man was taken into custody without a scratch on him, R.I.P. to the officer, but the real threat to America is white people, y’all going around shooting schools, clubs, big music events, the real threat to America is white people🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
My condolences 🙏
Police execute folks unprovoked pretty regularly. Even a chained Chihuahua is deemed worthy of a shot or several (true story). So one of their fellow gangsters in blue caught the same ill fate? Newton's third law isn't just for the classroom.
