Cocoa Puff is shedding a ton, AGAIN, right now. I feel like we are in an eternal molting season. ⁣ ⁣ What are your secrets of how you control and manage all the shedding of your pets? ⁣ ⁣ During these times I try to brush Cocoa Puff AT LEAST twice a day. Like cats, rabbits groom themselves constantly so it’s important to reduce the amount of hair they ingest. However, unlike cats, rabbits cannot vomit, so the ingested hair can cause internal blockages that can be deadly. ⁣ ⁣ —————————— 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 ——————————⁣ Cocoa Puff is a Continental Giant rabbit that is 18 lbs at 21 month old. He is litter box trained and lives in our home cage free.⁣ ⁣ ————————— 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 —————————⁣ Please be aware that I am not a rabbit expert and you should always do your own research and consult your vet regarding his/her care. I noticed that when I use the same type of brushing glove that yours for #geraldinehappybunny, in the minutes and hours that follow, she seems to groom hersent even more, as if she had bites. Does Cocoa Puff act like this? Otherwise, normal daily brushing and vacuuming are also our methods!😇 🐰

Cats....we've got cats....my cat dislikes the glove...so we saw an advertisement for the sleekEZ...Its a wooden block with sharpness on the other side that literally de-sheds like crazy....of course my cat hates that as well so we just put up with the nasty hairballs and clean up puke all summer long....my duaghter used the sleekEZ last night on her kitty and it looks like she de-shedded an entire cat...swear..sleekEZ!!!

Do you recommend brush gloves over anything else for a large rabbit? I have seen you take a soft vacuum to his fur as well, but my giant is quite a scaredy cat. Loves to be brushed, but it's just not as efficient 😭

I legit used to tape my bun. I used the hair remover tape rolls for clothes. He didn't mind at all and it totally got all the molting hair out and left the new shorter hair underneath.

Zorro that’s nearly as big as cocoa puff, shads a lot too. I’ve just purchased a “furminator”, a kind of comb that l already use for my dogs with good results. I’m gonna trying it next weekend. I’ll let you know if it works

Pirate sheds constantly. The amount varies. Usually 2 super heavy ones & the rest is light but she gets groomed at least once a day
